Kids at Showers?
I think it's fair to say that most adults can find Showers to be drab and boring (well, not if they're planned by Nicole & Dimed) but imagine being a KID at a shower?! I have been to my fair share of showers, both bridal and baby, and I have been as a child and as an adult. Some are fun, some are not. But as an adult, I have always found love and joy in every shower because I, as an adult, understood the gravity of what we were celebrating. Kids? not so much. They're not amused by the mom-to-be unwrapping baby bottles and breast pumps nor are they amused by brides getting excited over a brand new blender.
For my baby shower, I had a lot of little cousins that I wanted there BUT I remembered how bored I was at their momma's showers! So I did what any crazy person would do and design a complete activity book FROM SCRATCH on Microsoft Word and print them out AND assemble them at home for all my little lovely guests ranging from 3 years old to 13.
